Within Our Shapes

Tempesta Gallery is pleased to present Within Our Shapes, an unprecedented exhibition curated by Domenico de Chirico. This showcase features, on one hand, the multimedia corpus of works by Nicolas Pelzer and, on the other hand, the evocative paintings of Tal Regev.

The exhibition WITHIN OUR SHAPES features the works of Nicolas Pelzer and Tal Regev. Pelzer, with his sculptural installations, focuses on the interaction between technology and its collateral effects on contemporary value systems. His works, which combine experimentation with veracity, explore how technology influences our relationship with the body and the physical environment, generating aesthetic codes that reflect the historical detachment between technology and organicity.

On the other side, Tal Regev’s paintings are distinguished by their ethereal luminosity and the nuanced representation of the human figure. Regev, through a creative practice intertwining joy, trauma, and universal issues, explores the tension between inner energy and external manifestations. Her works, clearly layered and luminous, capture a sense of dynamic and mystery, reflecting a quest for light and meaning that always remains just beyond the visible surface.
