Sally von Rosen
Sally von Rosen explores the concept of fragmentation and connection through sculpture and installation. Her work focuses on hybrid forms and broken bodies, evoking a tension between brutality and delicacy. Inspired by Plato’s myth of the spherical human and Jane Bennett’s theories on vibrant matter, her sculptures investigate the relationship between subject and object, collective identity, and the transformative potential of matter.
Her works are not merely objects but hybrid entities that express desires and existential struggles. Through sculptures made from industrial and organic materials, she creates forms that oscillate between the recognizable and the unknown, exploring concepts of mutation and rebirth.
